CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR INDECENT BEHAVIOR

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On Friday, November 8 at approximately 3:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home on Red Tailed Hawk Drive in Lake Charles in reference to an investigation regarding two missing 14 year old girls, who had been reported missing the previous day. 

 

Deputies were advised by family members a cell phone belonging to one of the girls was showing it was located at the residence on Red Tailed Hawk Drive.  Deputies made contact with Micah I. Ford, 22, Lake Charles, who confirmed to deputies the two girls were hiding inside his residence. 

 

During further investigation, it was learned Ford had kissed one of the girls and sent a sexually explicit video to her.  He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 2 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile; and indecent behavior with a juvenile.  Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $105,000.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
