CPSO ARREST MAN FOR 1st DEGREE RAPE

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On November 3, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call in reference to a sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13. 

           

During the investigation, detectives received information identifying the suspect as Lee A. Adams, Jr., 23, Lake Charles.  After further investigation, on November 7, he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 1st degree rape, victim under the age of 13.  Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $1.5 million.   

           

CPSO Detective Jeff Atkinson is the lead investigator on this case. 

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
