CPSO TO HOST ANTI-BULLYING WALK

Lake Charles, LA –

Calcasieu Sheriff Stitch Guillory and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting its Annual Anti-Bullying Walk, Saturday, November 16, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Lake Charles Event Center Amphitheater, located at 900 N. Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles.

During the walk, participants will have the opportunity to visit various vendor booths offering resources and support.  In addition, several community leaders and advocates will be speaking to share their insights and encourage open dialogue about bullying.

“This walk is not just about raising awareness, it’s about taking a stand against bullying,” stated Sheriff Guillory.  “By walking together, we’re sending a message that we support our kids.  Every child deserves to feel safe and respected in our community.”

The event, which is open to all ages, is free to the public.  The first 100 kids will receive a free t-shirt.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please reach out to the CPSO DARE Division at (337)491-6808.
