Lake Charles, LA –
On September 8, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies received a complaint in reference to Nicholas L. Kastrick, 34, Sulphur, having inappropriate sexual contact with a girl under the age of 15. The victim advised detectives the incidents have been occurring for several years, the most recent being the previous day.
Later the same day, after detectives spoke with Kastrick, he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 3rd degree rape. Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $850,000.
The investigation is continuing and more charges are possible.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
