Under the 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Local Formula Solicitation, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is proposing the procurement of one (1) cargo trailer, forty-one (41) tactical mini shields, and four (4) fatal vision kits (simulated driving goggles). This grant has an allocation of funding by the Bureau of Justice totaling $64,406.
The application for federal assistance under this grant is due by August 3, 2022 and comments from the public regarding this grant proposal are encouraged.
