CPSO ARRESTS 2 FOR AGG ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On November 12 at approximately 11:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a fast food restaurant on Sam Houston Jones Parkway in Moss Bluff in reference to a disturbance involving a gun.  

           

When deputies arrived the observed an employee at the restaurant with a gunshot wound to her hand.  During the initial investigation detectives learned the two suspects, Conswella A. Robinson, 45, Humble, Texas, and Catherine M. Anderson, 64, Baton Rouge, entered the restaurant armed with a gun in order to confront the victim.  A physical altercation ensued between Robinson, Anderson, and the victim, at which time the gun was produced.  There was a struggle between the three individuals at which time the gun was accidently discharged, hitting the victim and grazing Robinson on the forearm.

           

Robinson and the victim were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated for their injuries and later released.  Robinson and Anderson were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm; and aggravated battery.  Robinson was additionally charged with possession of CDS I.  Their bonds are still pending.
