Lake Charles –
Today, December 26 around 2:00 p.m. the Iowa Police Department arrested CPSO Deputy Richard Booth for aggravated battery.
Booth worked as a shift sergeant at the Calcasieu Correctional Center and had been with the department for approximately 6 years before being terminated by Sheriff Tony Mancuso today.
IPD is the investigating agency.
