Lake Charles –
On April 7 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a call in reference to a carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that Timothy Ancelet, 57, 120 Lock Street, Sulphur, had sexual intercourse with a 15 year old girl, who he met on social media. When questioned by detectives Ancelet confirmed he had sexual intercourse with the girl. He also advised he shared nude photographs with her and had several sexual conversations with her. Later the same day Ancelet was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He was released on a $150,000 bond set by Judge David Ritchie.
After further investigation it was learned Ancelet was in possession of child pornography. He was arrested again on April 12 and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile; and pornography involving juveniles. He was released the next day on a $150,000 bond set by Judge David Ritchie
