Lake Charles, LA –
On February 28 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Gregg L. Hammock, 71, Silsbee, Texas, after an investigation revealed he had inappropriate sexual contact with a 17 year old. During the investigation the victim advised detectives that Hammock had inappropriate contact with her in 2017 while he was living in Calcasieu Parish.
When detectives spoke with Hammock he confirmed the allegations against him. He was arrested and booked in the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 1st degree rape. Judge Clayton Davis set his bond at $750,000.
