Lake Charles, LA –
Earlier this morning, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen in Westlake that informed deputies he had just seen fugitive Jeremy Rutledge, 32, DeQuincy, on Fred Lutz Rd. in Westlake.
CPSO deputies, with the assistance of Westlake Police Department, arrived on the scene, located Rutledge and took him into custody. Rutledge was in possession of a pellet gun at the time of his arrest.
DeQuincy Police Department had a warrant out for Rutledge since September 27 for attempted 2nd degree murder and false imprisonment.
