CPSO ANNOUNCES PLANNED ROUTE FOR OFFICER’S FUNERAL PROCESSION

Lake Charles, LA –

            On Saturday, August 20 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, as requested by the Fenton Police Department, will be leading the funeral procession for Officer Shannon Brown of FPD.  The procession will leave after the services, which begin at 10:00 a.m., from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, located at 3939 Lake Street in Lake Charles, and will end at Sacred Heart Cemetery, located at 2646 Opelousas Street in Lake Charles.  The preplanned route will be as follows:

·         South on Lake Street, then

·         East on McNeese Street, then 

·         North on Highway 14 to Opelousas Street.
