Lake Charles –
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is participating in the national “Click It or Ticket” campaign with grant funding from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. The 14-day campaign that starts today, May 23, and ends June 5, was created in an effort to save lives through awareness of increased seat belt use. This campaign comes ahead of the Memorial Day holiday, one of the busiest travel weekends of the year. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will have increased checkpoints and increased officers on the road, aimed at targeting people not wearing their seatbelt.
“According to research conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, while approximately 88% of occupants buckled up in 2015, almost 50% of occupants of fatal crashes nationwide are not restrained. This fact highlights the need for increased enforcement and awareness of seat belt use.” said Calcasieu Sheriff Tony Mancuso.

I'm really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility issues? A handful of my blog readers have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox. Do you have any recommendations to help fix this issue?

Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your design. Thanks
